Last weekend, I flew to Tagbilaran City along with a few members of the media (mostly from magazine) to experience aweekend of pure bliss in Amorita Resort in Alona Beach Panglao Bohol.
I was supposed supposed to fly to Davao City for the Kadayawan Festival but decided to skip this year so that I could go back to Amorita again.
This is not my first time in Amorita, so I know what to expect when I get there. But I am pleasantly surprised that some changes have been implemented. Improvements have been made since I last went there in 2008.
I always love the resort’s infinity pool as it overlooks the famed Alona Beach, one of the popular beaches in Panglao. As always food is excellent! The room’s good too. Amorita has always been known for very comfortable beds and pillows. So you’re always guaranteed of a good night’s sleep.
Massage service is also available upon request. during our first night, I availed of 1 hour whole body massage service. It was so relaxing, I immediately dozed off after the session started.
During our second day I also go to dive at the house reef, which is just 5 minutes away from the resort. The coral reef formation at the sanctuary is pretty amazing. lovely corals and the fishes are very colorful.
Walking along its well manicured lawn in the morning is very relaxing. Bikes are also available to guests to would want to pedal around the resort.
Aside from doing nothing, we were actually in Amorita to sample its latest menu offerings and did a not-your-typical-Bohol tour.
Watch oout for the succeeding installments of this series!
